My blog http://www.jodi-bove-I-am-the-glassblower.com is a running commentary of musings and memories of being a female hot glass artist and the life stories that helped mold my choices to be one.

There are quite a few times I’ve had to say “ I am the glassblower”, or more precise, “I am”.

Often I am asked before my performances “ When will he be blowing glass next?” Or “When is his next show?” by unaware patrons at the renaissance fair, in which I most often reply by listing show times and other interesting tidbits, but hardly do I ever say

“I am the glassblower”.

I do not mean to express I am THE Glassblower by any interpretation assuming singular or best. Just circumstantial expression at particular junctures in my life, as well as a concurring theme of the stories I tell.

Some of the topics I share are personal and may not be appropriate for some viewers but are written to interpret my experiences, although some dark, through an interesting and humorous tell.

I am leaving this week for Texas, and I am not just sparing you the details, but when I say I am leaving this week, it’s as in one-day-not-sure this week because that’s just how I roll.

Dakar and Ashley are having a really unique wedding. It starts with his cobalt blue tuxedo and orange converse sneakers, and ends with her rainbow 🌈 unicorn 🦄 gown! In between that awesomeness is their colorful wedding party and reception adorned with glass centerpieces and wooden roses!

This post will be updated periodically as we we design and create glass shot glasses and vases for this extremely unique wedding!

These shot glasses are just a taste of what the couple have in mind. There will be more glass created in multiple colors to complete their reception plans and I am honored to be such a big part of their special day! ❤️🌈🦄
